Ebay Sellers Need a Buying ID

With the holidays approaching fast many Ebay sellers will also be buyers. Ebay allows individuals to have multiple ID's, as long as they are linked to different email addresses. Its a good idea for those who are primarily sellers to have a separate ID to use when buying for several reasons:

• Feedback. Don't risk your selling reputation over a holiday gift for Aunt Tillie. If you find yourself in a buying deal that goes bad you won't have to worry about getting negative feedback on your primary selling ID. It also leaves you the freedom to post (deserved) negative feedback without worrying much about retaliation.
• Your buying habits. Many sellers surf Ebay for bargains that can be resold at a higher price. You really do not need a prospective buyer knowing what you paid to acquire an item (or for that mater, where you bought it)

To obtain another Ebay ID, simply sign up again as though you were a new customer. Just use an email address different from the one already registered with Ebay.
